The 'At Retirement' Process
Make Recommendations
This will most probably be part of a second, or subsequent meeting. The style of the adviser and the client circumstances will dictate how this part of the process is conducted.
Having collected and assimilated the solutions for the client this stage presents recommendations and continues to test these solutions against the client’s tolerance for risk; and delivers a mutually agreed solution to the client.

- Presentation of Solutions
- Confirmation of Risks

- Ensure all stage one documentation issued
- Suitability Letter (may be to be signed if there is a transfer involved)
- Key Feature Documentation
- Illustrations
- Copies of research documentation

- Check that all core documentation is present
|
If at this stage the client expresses any doubt about proposed solutions, it may be worth going back in through the process and reconsidering the client factors, values and views.
Once the client is in agreement with the proposed solutions then the case may move through to formal acceptance and completion.
