Creating a Successful Retirement Practice
We are pleased to announce our autumn series of seminars to assist the financial
adviser in Creating a Successful Retirement Practice. The retirement market
continues to grow and offer great opportunity to adviser firms with focused
propositions.
This session is for those who would like to begin the process of establishing, or
enhancing, their retirement business. If this is you, then please come along.
This session aims to support the small to medium sized adviser practice begin the
process of developing their business proposition to meet the needs of the market
and customer, whilst meeting many of the demands of future regulation.

This is a high value day that will provide numerous business development ideas and methods, as well as allowing you the valuable time to think through the services you offer to existing clients as well as how you can develop your services further to professional connections and introducers.
The day will start at 9.30am and conclude at 3.30pm and will include the following sessions:
- Reviewing your retirement practice today: introducing a series of models and tools to help the small to medium sized firm review their existing activities, resources and capabilities. This allows the firm to gain a good grasp of where their business is today
- Seeing your future: A session designed to introduce you to some creative thinking techniques that help you to build a future vision for your retirement business.
- Building your retirement advice process: Utilising the Retirement Partnership’s five stage advice process model we will show how you can define your advice process, differentiate yourself from competition, and deliver value to clients. This in turn allows for fee charging for valued services.
- Understanding the critical factors of retirement advice: A highly valuable session that will introduce the 12 Critical Factors© of retirement advice and demonstrate how this simple model can be used in both transactional and complex advice situations.
The seminar is about helping the adviser provide a better service in the retirement market and build a better business. NO product presentations will be made during the day, although different product types may be discussed.
