The 5 Stage Retirement Advice Process

In the beginning we were asked to create a new retirement advice process model for financial advisers - and here it is. The ‘5 stage’ model is the result of many hours spent with advisers doing the job of advising clients on a day to day basis.

Within each stage there are three documented lists of actions:

  • Things you need to discuss with the client
  • Things you need to hand over
  • The administration that needs to be done

The 12 Critical Factors©

The 12 Critical Factors© bridge through the 5 stage process, and will help the adviser and client steer through to the most appropriate solutions. Whilst the '5-stage' process model may already look familiar, the 12 Critical Factors of retirement advice may be completely new. We believe this model will revolutionise the way you give advice, and create consistency amongst a team of advisers.

We will be pleased to show you how these systems work, however we have also trained the business development teams from our sponsoring product providers in these models, so you may find this a cost effective way of taking your first steps, as well as the quickest route.  Alternatively we are asked to speak at various venues, meetings, and conferences, and we issue these dates to the RP members as they arise.
